To: The Leader of the Council and Executive, London Borough of Hounslow

We the undersigned object to the continued decline of Hounslow Town Centre.   We want to see a thriving town centre.  We note and welcome the work of EDAW/ AECOM on the Town Centre vision 'A brighter future for Hounslow town centre' (January 2009- www.hounslow.gov.uk/regeneration).

 

We are concerned that progress since January 2009 has been too slow and call upon the Council to immediately:

• commit the necessary Council staff time and resources to move this regeneration forward more rapidly;

• establish a town centre regeneration group involving a cross section of stakeholders, including traders and local residents, in the regeneration;

• fund and commission work on a master plan for the town centre.
