Name: Rich Etchberger on Jun 6, 2009Comments: The Hot Tomato Cafe is one of the cornerstones of the business community in Fruita. I support them staying in their current location. One of the reasons I make the 3 hours drive from Vernal, Utah is to enjoy the small town atmosphere in Fruita. Previously, there have no places to enjoy good food and lively banter like the Hot Tomato. At those times we have continued on to Grand Junction to eat. Thanks.Flag

Name: Tim Bateman on Jun 6, 2009Comments: I live in Moab and sometimes use the excuse to ride my bike in Fruita so I can visit the Hot Tomato post-ride. In my opinion Fruita will suffer a great loss to the community and the economy if the Hot Tomato closes.Flag

Name: Nancy Rizzo on Jun 6, 2009Comments: The Hot Tomato brings in a lot of people to Downtown Fruita, they have worked very hard to make a successful, business. Making them leave will have a negative impact on the local economy let alone their many loyal customers who will be wary about any future dealings in Fruita.Flag

Name: Carla Hukee on Jun 6, 2009Comments: Fruita, Moab, Springdale - I have choices. W/out a solid downtown core and businesses like the Hot Tomato, I can choose an alternate destination, and probably will advise my cycling company clients to do the same. We need a great downtown to make Fruita events worthwhile.Flag
