Name: Mike Addison on Nov 11, 2006Comments: When I moved to N. Raleigh in 2000, it was not too difficult to find a public tennis court that was available for play. In the past two years, it has gotten to the point where, there is almost never a court available. The norm now is waiting 20-30 minutes for a court to open up (no matter where I go). It's quite frustrating as I enjoy the game of tennis but when there are now no courts available.....Flag

Name: Walter Benoit on Nov 16, 2006Comments: We need lighted tennis courts in North Raleigh. I play on several teams and ladders and it is becoming more and more difficult to schedule matches due to over crowding at the courts. Additional courts at Durant would increase local participation, ease the overcrowding and improve the quality of life in Raleigh.Flag

Name: Anonymous on Dec 15, 2006Comments: There are too few tennis courts in the North Raleigh area. The only saving grace is just going to an apartment complex and utilizing their tennis courts, which I am sure is not acceptable for them. I would certainly appreciate more tennis facilities instead of so much money being spent on assistance programs for people who are not trying to take control of their life!Flag
