We believe those who helped rescue and treat the injured and comfort those caught up in the disaster deserve a lasting mark of recognition.

Our calls are being backed by Deputy Prime Minister Nick Clegg and some fellow MPs but we want your support too.

In the weeks since the ’copter crash, families and friends have mourned the deaths of the 10 people killed in the disaster.

But details have also emerged of the courage of those who tried to help save those around them.
