ENGLISH VERSION: Because there are only 2 or 3 animal shelters in Bosnia & Herzegovina, the government sets in hunters to shoot these dogs. For every tail they bring in, the hunters will receive new bullets. Often the dogs are left behind, half dead and heavily mutilated, to die a slow and painful death. In case of the puppies, the tails are cut off alive, to spare bullets.......By radio people are informed at what time the hunters will make their appearance the next morning, so that people know why they hear gunshots. Daily, the amount of dogs and cats shot is registered and the numbers are shocking: in only 3 months, over 500 dogs and 300 cats have been the victims of these cruel and bizar methods. The animals are left for garbage where people and children can see them lying by the side of the road. Most of the animals find a slow death in a most horrific way, because they were not killed, but just wounded. If a mother dog is found with her pups, just the mother is killed. This saves bullets, since the pups will die anyway without their mother. Let�s give a voice to these animals, because this can no longer go on in silence. Bosnia.............is forgotten country, where refugee camps are still full and poverty still present. We care about the animals in this country. If we don't do it, who will............. BOSNIAN VERSION: Upravo zbog cinjenice da u Bosni & Hercegovini postoji nesluzbeno 2 ili 3 azila za nezbrinjene zivotinje,vlada unajmljuje lovce na divljaci da ubijaju ulicne pse. Za svaki odsjeceni rep ubijenog ulicnog psa koji se donese na uvid, lovci dobijaju nove metke. Vrlo cesto ovi psi su ostavljeni napola ubijeni tesko izranjavani da umiru u sporoj i bolnoj patnji. U slucajevima malih kucica, repovi im se sjeku dok su zivi kako bi se ustedjelo na mecima.......Putem radija stanovnici pojedinih gradova se prvo informisu o vremenskom periodu akcija kada ce se lovci poceti pojavljivati narednog jutra tako da znaju zbog cega se cuju pucnji lovackih pusaka. Dnevna brojka registrovanih ubijenih pasa i macaka je sokirajuca: za samo 3 mjeseca preko 500 pasa i 300 macaka je postalo zrtvama ove nehumane i bizarne metode. Ubijene ili izranjavane zivotinje se ostavljaju na smecu ili na ulicama gdje ih prolaznici kao i djeca mogu vidjeti kako leze u lokvama krvi. Smrt po vecinu ovih zivotinja dolazi polako na najjadniji nacin jer ih je vecina samo izranjavana a ne ubijena. Ako se pronadje zenka sa malim kucicima, samo se ona ubije. Na ovaj nacin se sacuvaju metci jer ce kucici svakako uginuti bez njihove majke. Mi dajemo glas ovim zivotinjama jer se ovo vise nemoze desavati u tisini. Bosna ........ jedna zaboravljena zemlja gdje su izbjeglicki kampovi puni i siromastvo jos uvijek prisutno. Mi brinemo o �ivotinjama u ovoj zemlji. Ukoliko mi to ne uradimo, ko ce................ DUTCH VERSION: Omdat er maar 2 tot 3 dierenasielen in Bosnië Hercegovina zijn zet de overheid jagers in om de zwerfhonden af te schieten. Voor iedere staart die de jagers inleveren krijgen ze een nieuwe kogel. Vaak worden de honden halfdood en ernstig verwond achtergelaten waar ze een langzame en pijnlijke dood sterven. De staarten van puppies worden levend afgesneden omdat dit de kogel bespaard. Via de radio wordt men gewaarschuwd op welke tijden de jagers aan het 'werk' zijn zodat men voorbereid is op geweerschoten. Er is een dagelijkse registratie van de afgeschoten zwerfhonden en -katten en deze getallen zijn schokkend. In 3 maanden tijd zijn er meer dan 500 honden en 300 katten slachtoffer geworden van deze wrede en inhumane werkwijze. De zwerfdieren worden als afval achtergelaten zodat volwassenen en kinderen ze gewoon zien liggen aan de kant van de weg. Meestal is het een langzame en zeer pijnlijke dood omdat ze niet ernstig genoeg verwond zijn om direct te overlijden. Als een moederhond bij haar nest wordt gevonden dan wordt alleen zij doodgemaakt omdat dit kogels bespaard, de puppies zonder zullen hulp van de moeder sowiezo overlijden. Zij lijden en sterven in stilte. Laat ons hen een stem geven zodat zij niet langer in stilte lijden. Bosnië is een vergeten land waar nog steeds volle vluchtenlingenkampen zijn en waar armoede heerst.
