HomeSchoolVoices.com is appealing to homeschoolers nationwide to voice your support, concerns and comments regarding a North Carolina Judge's ruling to force a homeschooling mom to put her children back into public school. Despite the fact that the children have excelled and tested 2 years above grade the judge personally feels that the mothers teachings should be challenged in public school. He feels that the children need more than what the mother is able to give them and has overruled her parental decisions. We as home schoolers need to collectively scream our support and never let our guards down as parents. It continues to be proven in America that someone else thinks they know better what our children need. We have got to keep our eyes and ears open and launch our own efforts to protect our rights. Home schooling has go to be put on the for fronts and not hidden in back corners. We can no longer afford to have our rights violated. The government does not care about our children so we must work together to defend our rights. If the public school can create commercials to hype the public school system, maybe we as homeschoolers should do the same. We are appealing to anyone who supports home school rights to sign the petition and put our rights on the forefront. No longer can we sit and wait quietly for the government to strip away our rights. The public school system is not the best environment for trying to raise children with good moral values. Our government should not be allowed to force this down our throats. In this case a judge has made this personal by admitting that the children involved in this case are smart but he personally feels that the children would be better served in an environment where the children would be subjected to, sexual immorality, abuse by students, molestation and sodomy by teachers, bullying, just to name a few.
