Do you want this to replace your trees in the Savannah Greenbelt?
As homeowner's and residents of Savannah Texas, we are opposed to the building of a disc golf course in our greenbelt.
We feel that the use of the natural greenbelt areas are best served in it's current state by walkers, joggers, and bikes. The park areas should be used for sport activities, and not the natural setting of the greenbelts.
We are opposed to any activity that would bring unauthorized non-residents into the community to use our amenities.
Disc Golf will bring non-residents, noise factors, liability, crime, fire hazards, danger to walkers/nearby homes, and extremely damaging effects to the trees and undergrowth, if not completely destroying the greenbelt.
We are opposing the use of these ugly metal disc trees, with chains and the nuisance that comes with it. We ask that the Water District, Huffines and the Association to cease and desist any action immediately with this approved plan.

The Water District and Huffines are finally starting to feel the heat because this momentum is impossible to ignore. We have proved that this community will not sit back while they destroy our greenbelt to push their agenda. Keep the pressure on them until they kill this disc golf project for good.

Serious liability issue. Plus the noise levels would be terrible for the homes right next to it.
Keep the greenbelt natural. Nobody wants to deal with random people throwing frisbees in their backyard all day.
Keep the outsiders out. Let them build their course somewhere else.
The natural beauty is why we live here. Dont destroy it with chains and metal poles.
Not a good idea. That area is for families and joggers and keeping it quiet. Why change what isnt broken?

THOSE DISGUSTING METAL CAGES WILL RUIN THE LANDSCAPE. We moved here for the trees not for a park filled with plastic flying everywhere.
