Dear Dr.Domenichelli My name is Mallola Khalidi, KHS junior. It has come to my attention that kimball high has had a home ec room for a certain period of time. As an oncoming senior I genuinely wish to have this class. I do not speak only for myself, coming into this school the class of 2014' s senior year would greatly be ecstatic to have this class as an option. I understand about the budget cuts and so forth but not only for the class of 2014 but also the other hundreds of classes that will graduate. As a student I am trying all that is in my power to persuade you into giving seniors the opportunity to take this class. As seniors we would like a class where we can have fun and relax.A class where we can all bond in our last year together. Also it would benefit our knowledge on healthy food. We would learn how to make delicious nutritional treats. Various numbers of students will be leaving home and off to college the following year and this class could teach us how to be independent and make food for ourselves. To be the first class to have home economics would be the best way to start off my senior year. Thank you
