The event has been officially cancelled. Thank you to the hundreds of people who refused to accept this partnership and kept the pressure on the administration. Stay alert to ensure our campus values remain protected going forward.
On Oct 24th, Holy Cross College will allow the Massachusetts Alliance on Teen Pregnancy to hold a seminar on their campus. What many do not know is that the alliance is partners with Planned Parenthood and NARAL Pro-Choice of Massachusetts.
While the President of the College, Fr. McFarland, has been asked by the Bishop of Worchester, several alumni, and students to cancel the event, he is refusing to cancel the event.
In a response to an e-mail sent to him by the co-president of Holy Cross Students for Life, Fr. McFarland defended his decision and Planned Parenthood by saying, \"...I must point out that the strategy of some pro-life groups to shun Planned Parenthood and thus discredit them in the public eye, however justified in theory, has been a miserable failure in practice.\"
Take a stand and tell Fr. McFarland and Holy Cross that Planned Parenthood is not welcome on our nation\'s college campuses.
We are approaching 500 signatures and need to hit this milestone before we confront Fr. McFarland again. Post this link on your Facebook page and text three friends who support our mission right now.

Fr. McFarland continues to ignore our concerns while defending his partnership with organizations that betray the values of this college. Email his office today to demand he reconsider, and call three alumni to ensure they know exactly what is happening on campus.

This is completely unacceptable. Holy Cross is supposed to be a Catholic institution. How can they justify hosting an organization that works with Planned Parenthood? Disgraceful.

Fr. McFarland needs to do his job and protect the values of this school. Very disappointed in the leadership right now.

Shame on Holy Cross. They are losing their way and betraying the students and alumni who actually care about the faith.
