Comments: The Cuban Five file reflects poorly on the US. It's time to go ahead and exchange prisoners for time served and no admission of guilt by either side.

Comments: After all of these years why are we still punishing the people of Cuba and Cuban-Americans with these unreasonable conditions. We cannot change the past but we can bring about a much better future with your positive actions. Be bold and compassionate. Move us into the 21st century with reconciliation.

Comments: As a U.S. Citizen who has visited and worked in the island directing semester-long programs, I urge you both to please consider letting go some of the long-standing animosity and come to a basic understanding: that people shall and must be treated with compassion and understanding. Please let them go home. It is an act of generosity that will make you rise way above the level of pettiness that has characterized so much of our foreign policy, to which Cuba has strongly reacted. Please put people first. We will all thank you.
