Comments: She broke the law twice. In the UK it doesn't matter who you are popstar, footballer, whatever you go to prison and do your time. I certainly don't see why Ms Hilton should be above that. Especially being that, as far as anyone can see, she doesn't have a taent that might be affected by it.

Comments: What gets me most of all is that this woman (NOT a child at 26) had more than enough money to *hire* a car and driver to get her around town and to work. Her suspended license wasn't even a hardship to her nor did it hamper her independence. What reason did she have to drive in the first place None- expcet that she thought th te law did not apply to her.

Comments: She should face prison time. Many other "upstanding" citizens face worse; her continued disregard for the laws of CA should be an indicator that she is a repeat offender and deserves the full punishment of the law.

Comments: Pardoning Ms.Hilton would send a horrible message to everyone. Driving under the infulence of alcohol is a serious offense for everyone including the rich and famous.

Comments: I am completely in favor of any sentence which will ensure that Ms. Hilton (or anyone else) will learm her lesson in this matter. That said, given her blatant disregard for laws in the past, as well as her current attitude regarding her sentence - I fear that 22 or 23 days (with "days served" provision) will accomplish it. Pardoning her, or even publically acknowledging serious consideration ot pardoning her, would do irreparable damage to the legal system's already shaky reputation as "unbiased".
