Emily CleggParis DESERVES to spend some time in jail. SHe is no role model. She is vial and needs to understand how the rest of live with the consequesnces of our actions. If you are old enough to read you are old enough to know what suspension means.
melindayes she should serve her full time and i hear she is driving again man she is in no way a role model for our children
AnonymousIt's either the 45 days or sign up for the Armed Services, IMHO. Let them straighten her out...someone needs to. Maybe a tour in Afghanistan or Iraq will teach Paris a thing or two.

AnonymousShe needs to take responsibility for her actions
JanineParis Hilton isn't a role model that any parent would want their adolescent daughter to look up to. The only way she is entertaining is to remind us that village idiots do still exist and they can come from income level. It's time for Paris to grow up, take responsibility for her life, her actions and her being, Mr. Governor and jail might just be the place for that to happen. She broke the law. Then violated her probation, not once but twice and then didn't attention the court ordered alcohol treatment program. If that isn't a total disregard and disrespect for the law and authority, I don't know what is. I certainly hope this is a no-brainer for you and you get a good hearty laugh out of the *Free Paris* petition. Being a father I have faith that you won't grant a pardon to Paris Hilton and let the correctional system attempt to instill in her what apparently her parents haven't or couldn't.
AnonymousShe's lucky she didn't kill anyone!

dannyshes no better than the average person, make her do her sentence, just as you and i would have too, hold her accountable,if she gets off, that would be a disgrace to our justice system
Stephen KawamotoParis Hilton should also be held accountable for promoting potential alcoholism and drug addiction by her friends and fans. Yes, people do make dumb decisions but unless we tell people that alcohol, cocaine, MDMA, and other substances MAY cause addiction based on HOW EARLY you use. The predominant side effect of substance abuse is psychosis, which includes bizarre behavior as what Paris, Lindsay Lohan, Nicole Richie, and Britney Spears have exhibited in public on many occasions, as documented by paparazzi. Please, please! Is someone listening?
David GerryMs. Hilton should not be treated any different then anyone else who has done what she did. She broke the law, she was sentanced to jail and she should go. If she is let off for any reason it will be made obvious that celebrities are treated different then others and something should be done about that. If the Governor pardons her I believe a petition should be started to have him removed from office.

AnonymousHow many chances do regular citizens get to ignore the terms of their probation none
AnonymousDouble her sentence for showing such disrespect to the courts and common man. While you're at it, stick her mother in for 45 days for mouthing off. Paris has been a walking (and bed thrashing) advertisement for drugs, alcohol, and venerial disease. They should show her clips in schools (like they used to show bad car wrecks) to teach children what NOT to do.

Shirley GarmanThe law should be the same for the rich as the poor and if she broke or chose to ignore the law, she has to pay the piper

Lucy CameroonParis Hilton is not the same as everyone else. She is a defective, pathetic excuse for a human and jail time is more than what she deserves. She should be forced to live the rest of her days as a servant in a 3rd world country after being sent to boot camp for a year. That's hot.
