Name: Richard Jones on Sep 11, 2008Comments: I have have the situation of the the fact that my son who was a late bloomer has developed into a AE/A level player but he was never going to be able to get the opprotunity to play hockey at that level in our towns organization. Playing in Toronto was not a option due to logistics. Our towns league just looked upon him as a lifetime houseleaguer. He is never going to play pro but he deserves the opprotunity to play the best calibre of hockey that he can. That is why we switched organizations and went with the Solar BearsFlag

Minor Hockey Associations who are afraid of the end of residency rules should maybe take a good hard look at why people want to leave and change their ways instead of using draconian methods of segregation and get rid of the iron curtain.Flag

Name: Sheena McWhinnie on Jan 19, 2010Comments: My son has been playing hockey in the same small town that he grew up in since he was a tike... he is now in his last year of midget and has been taken off the team half way through the season because I have moved to be closer to work. His grandparents live in the same small town where he has grown up and he spends half his time there (I am a single mom) and although he stays there half the time and still attends school there they are now saying that his grandparents would have to get legal guardianship of him if he is using their address. At this point there is nowhere for him to play....Flag
