After working your whole life to buy a home, so you don't have to answer to a landlord, feel like you are being swindled by yet another form of landlord? Imagine being able to spend those h.o.a. fees on more important things like school clothes,food,or other bills. In this over stressed economy don't you feel a fee paid to an agency that does nothing but fine you a bit ridiculous? The idea of a HOME OWNERS association is to assist the HOME OWNERS and protect them from renters coming into your neighborhood and decreasing property values by destroying our beautiful community. How can paying someone to fine you be productive? Many people fear moving into a community that has a H.O.A. and this is making or community suffer where it once thrived. Anything that scares buyers away cant be helpful in such economic time. Are you an adult? can you make up your own mind on what color to paint your house? after working all week to support your household do you think you should be told when to cut your lawn? and fined if you don't do it when they tell you?
