Hmong Hoe’s is page on facebook that is targeted towards Hmong women and Asian women in general. The title of the page it self is disgusting and perpetuates the stereotype of Asian women as nothing, but mere sex objects and that Asian women are promiscuous prostitutes/ whores. Not only does the title of the page itself harms the self esteem and self worth of Asian and Hmong women everywhere, the page also violates individual rights to privacy, promotes bullying and child sex.

Individuals who participate in the activities of this page are doing so to bully their peers or someone that they have a vendetta against; some pictures on this page are posted purely to humiliate the individual pictured.  What’s even more appalling is the fact that grown men and women are actually replying positively and crudely to pictures that depicts young teens in a sexual suggestive posture. Many of the images are stolen from cell phones, personal pages, emails and individual’s personal pages and the participants posting these images have not received consent from owners of the photos.

This page is appalling in that it violates many personal rights as well as liberty’s that we each are entitled to.  I am disappointed in the people that run Facebook as the page has been reported numerous times and they refuse to take it down. This page violates many of their policy as to what a page can constitute, but yet they have failed to take it down. They have failed to protect individuals, especially children who use their services. I will be closing my Facebook page soon, as I will not tolerate or promote this type of careless behavior from any company or corporation, especially when it involves children.

Let’s work together to shut this page down by signing this petition. Tell Facebook and the individual running the page that we will not tolerate violation of our privacy or that of our friends/family and children. We will not tolerate the promotion of stereotyping specific races, sexism, sex with children and cyber-bullying.
