Thomas The Tank Engine is a really useful blue engine. HiT Entertainment changed the Thomas The Tank Engine theme song when it was just fine the way it was. See, here's the deal, in order to have a succesful show, the theme song has to anchor the main character, which in this case, is Thomas. When Thomas The Tank Engine and Friends first aired in 1984, the theme song itself is what anchored Thomas The Tank Engine. The new theme song doesn't anchor Thomas as well as the original theme song did. This is one of those cases where the old saying "Don't fix something if it is not broke" comes in. You just never change the theme song to a show, ever. Now, granted, the new computer animated Thomas is quite awsome. I do like the computer animation, and the special effects. In the new series, I give the computer animation and special effects a "thumbs up." But still, it is just not Thomas The Tank Engine without the original theme song that helped to anchor Thomas The Tank Engine in the first place. Please help me in getting the original Thomas The Tank Engine Theme song changed back to it's original happy tune.
