605 DeborahLaNierNJYes, I am a artist in every sense of the word--spoken word, singing, and rapping are my realms of destiny and choice. This site invites one to a networking possibility, one who knows that we are CREATORS and must speak from the spirit of our HIGHER SELF. Consciousness is a label and distinction of which i am so happy to embrace. I look forward to learning more.

639 MichellePierreGAI read somewhere in that the School Board is checked by the principals, the principals by the teachers and the teachers by the parents. But the kids aren't checked by anyone. As parents it is our duty, as a community it is our cause to provide these open minded youths with positive messages. We need to take our fight up with BET, VH1, Radio One, and all the head haunchos. The rappers, performers, artists are just pawns in the greater scheme of things. To bring our message to uniform - let's ban all degrading albums - I bet they will hear us then!

641 MarkDavisWAThere's so much that can be said about the current sorry state of music in general, but this will have to do..."Bring The Beat Back"

647 EmpressEbonéNCI wholeheartedly concur. If we do not take our lives in our own hands we will be annihilated And unfortunately the assailants will be ourselves. Unity in Our Communities is what we need!!!
