Comments: When those who are supposed to uphold justice, abuse it, the world is forever changed. It turns people against each other and allows them to infringe upon each others' freedoms. May Allah help to stop injustice against any human soul;especially that of our sister Hind Hammouda. Ameen. Samah Aburashed

Comments: I am proudly standing by this case of Sr. Hind, the mother of my friend Hussam and Wael. Shame on those who suppose to serve the justice. Shame on a man who dare to hit a mentally sick woman and pull off her Hijjab. I have no respect for such an ugly act.

Comments: Police Officers are trained in restraining individuals and I find it difficult to comprehend how they couldn't do that if there were 2 of them against 1 woman. If they were not trained to restrain and were trained to beat women instead with batons than I feel the training program should be changed! In the case of her Hijab being pulled off that is a serious action against her civil rights. Again, I think they could have restrained her if they felt they were being assaulted ,much like a parent does if a child is having a temper tantrum and flailing about. It would not be acceptable for a parent to beat that child especially with a baton just because they were being aggressive....IF THAT REALLY HAPPENED. As a Taxpayer and Citizen of Canada I do not want Police Officers who use EXCESSiVE FORCE on the City of Calgary Payroll! Our City is a wonderful community and city to live in and to have it's reputation tarnished by such acts is unacceptable. Please know that this could have been avoided and should have been. Please take the necessary measures to insure that this does not happen again. Thank you.
