Princess Leia is not just any supporting player in the Star Wars franchise, she is a pivotal character that fans and collectors of all ages can identify. Princess Leia is who brought me to the Star Wars fandom and made me want to introduce it to my two daughters. They're huge fans of the franchise, but they especially love Leia, Padme, and Ahsoka Tano. You've got one of the seminal female characters in science fiction--why would you deny her to your female fans? #WeWantLeia
Dear Disney - do you know not realise how many girls love SW and Princess Leia?? Do you really think boys wouldn't play with a Leia doll, when she's the one who secures the Death Star plans, gets them out of the detention block, then in ESB remains defiant in Vader's face and in ROTJ rescues Han and shoots down Troopers while injured??
Come on, Disney, there were Leia action figures and the like back in the '70s and '80s. Lots of women and girls like Star Wars and always have. That doesn't keep men and boys from liking it. Merchandise for everybody, more money for you - seems like a win/win.
Enough with the slave girl outfits. Its overdone and trivializes the character, esoecially seeing as how shes only one of two female. characters with speaking parts in the entire trilogy
My girls look up to General Organa and I want them to be able to add a strong woman to their Star Wars play. Is it really 2016? Why is it such a big deal to make a figure for her?

I took my niece to the mall last week. Whenever we saw Star Wars merchandise she asked for Princess Leia. Please add it to the Disney Store. She loves playing with the talking stormtrooper but needs her Leia to go with it!
