Name: Karen Wheatley on Jan 21, 2013Comments: If this gets the go ahead, it will spoil an area of natural beauty, it will be a total blot on the horizon and it will be seen from miles around. It will scare horses on the bridal path running next to the proposed site, it will give out a constant drone day and night, and the power it generates will not benefit the residents of Hewish other than the applicant, and why is Coombe farm involved on the applicant getting the go ahead if its been applied for by an independant farm in Hewish ? No this application is not a good thing for this lovely village.Flag

Name: Susannah Everington on Jan 22, 2013Comments: Wind turbines are subsidised by the taxpayers, to the benefit of the landowners who host them and to the power companies' shareholders. A turbine on this site will have huge impact on the surrounding Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, as well as being to the detriment of local residents.Flag

Name: Andy Nixon on Jan 22, 2013Comments: A development totally out of place in this rural, but populated, area due to its scale and location. Particularly worrying if it were to set a precedent, especially with the developers quoted as saying "Although we have no current plans to build more turbines on the site, we are always looking for alternative energy opportunities, so ‘never say never’.”Flag

Comments: I support this 100%. I think building a turbine near a residential area would have an impact on health, the environment and property prices to all those effected.Flag -
