Comments: Please - let's be proactive instead of reactive - before something tragic occurs. The same should be the case for the Rogers Road/Marshall Farm Street intersection.

Comments: May I point out that it is not the number of pedestrians using the crossing that should be the deciding factor but the heavy and fast traffic. As to the "all directions" it seems to me that two pedestrian crossings (on each street) could be enough.

Comments: I live on Heritage Lake Road and my daughter gets off the bus at this intersection and it scares me. I can't imagine how bad it is going to be once the pool is active. The easiest first step would be to lower the speed limit to 35 which might slow traffic to 55!

Comments: Although we live in the Links we share your concern with the speeding that occurs throughout the area. Many exceeding the speeding limit are residents who apparently have no children, or have no respect for other neighborhoods.

Comments: I also feel there should be a petition to request that a sidewalk be installed along Heritage Lake Road so that you can safely walk to the shops. With the construction and general traffic it is not safe to walk or ride bikes along that section to Rogers Road.

Comments: Agreed. How about a couple of speed bumps to slow the traffic down. Seems to work on sections of Club Ave.

Comments: Traffic lights cost money and also incur maintenance cost over the live of the signal, however if someone is injuried or killed and lack of safety is the main reason for the problem that would be a real shame. maybe consider radar trap with INS officals at the same time and kill two birds with one stone.

Comments: I'm on the fence about the traffic light but, think that the crosswalk accompanied by crosswalk signs is without question a requirement. I think it is unexceptable to have an activity area like this one without a crosswalk for the community!
