Comments: We need a Heritage Conservation Plan. If Port Moody, Coquitlam, Pitt Meadows and Haney can have their Heritage Plan why can't we

Comments: Port Coquitlam Mayor and Councillors should be ashamed that Port Coquitlam doesn't have a Heritage Conservation Plan.

Comments: A city with no past has no future. The demolition of The New View Society Club House is outrageous. Other communities can save their prized heritage buildings with the backing of their cities, why can't we do the same.

Comments: It has been a long time coming that a Heritage Commission is enforced. We need to keep the torch burning for those that settled in Port Coquitlam and contributed, while leaving a legacy to future generations.

Comments: it is essential to preserve these historical sites. If they are not preserved nothing of our history will be left, creating a huge vaccuum in our fair city.

Comments: It is sad that many heritage buildings have already been destroyed in Port Coquitlam. It is of primary importance that the remaining ones are kept as a heritage of the past and for future generations. No amount of money can ever bring them back again.

Comments: There aren't many heritage homes left in PoCo to save. If we don't do something NOW, what is left will be gone. We need a Heritage Conservation plan put in place with the city, to protect historical buildings from being demolished in the future!
