Name: Paul Colton on Mar 2, 2008Comments: I think your case for a reduction must be strengthened since Berwick were able to get Norbert Magosi's reduced . Just a shame it's too close to the season starts , but here's hoping you get reduced to 5.00 enabling you to have a chance of a team place here in the future .Flag

Name: Mark Lucas on Mar 2, 2008Comments: The BSPA have to come out and publicly explain in full detail why Magosi's average has been reduced to a 5.00, then explain why a rider who is commited to the UK and British speedway has to be stuck on a 7.00 average. If they do not do this, then the sport is make to look amatuerish...........AGAIN! Do the right thing and get Henning on to a 5.00 average.......NOW!!Flag

Name: David George Rowland on Mar 2, 2008Comments: Henning has unfairly been allocated a 7 point average onthe basis of a Danish Team trying him for a couple of matches. This will mean closure to a speedway career in this country where he now abides. In the interest of fairness should he not be allocated a 5 average like the Aussies who have received special consideration and which Henning deserve just the same. We are short of riders now so in the near future we are going to need 5 pointers to complete teams. The alternative is to go to the expense of expensive foreign riders who may or may not be able to compete for a full season. Henning lives here and would be available now and for the rest of the season.Flag

Name: Tim Scott on Mar 2, 2008Comments: There has been a lot of patriotic debate about British vs foreign riders in the British leagues. As a Brit I'd love to see more of our guys coming through and doing well. BUT, we're in the EU and the law is the law - so the debate is in some ways irrelevant. The bigger issue to me is that any rules - particularly around the assessment of averages - are applied consistently. Given that there is precedent around cases like Henning's, I absolutely agree that he has been treated unfairly. Therefore, in the spirit of justice I say "Good luck Henning!"Flag

Name: Susan Cuthbert on Mar 2, 2008Comments: When others are getting special dispensation, it seems completely unfair that Henning is stuck with a high average when all he completed in was 2 higher league meetings a few years ago, even though he was informed it would not affect his future racing aspirations over here.Flag
