We, the undersigned, hereby petition the Henderson County Board of Public Education to protect and preserve the tremendous success of Hendersonville Elementary School (HES). We specifically oppose changes to Hendersonville Elementary that: -Merge HES with Bruce Drysdale Elementary (BDS) or any other school; or -Provide priority enrollment to HES for students within the BDS district or any other school district; or -Convert HES to a "district" school thereby eliminating its current non-district, lottery admission status; or -Includes any combination of the above changes impacting HES. We, concerned parents and residents of Henderson County, request that the Board of Public Education decisively act to protect the success of HES.
