We family members of the beloved Sherman Hemsley aka George Jefferson of The Jeffersons and Amen shows. We ask that you join with us petition the court to lay to rest our own Sherman Hemsley with a respectful funeral and burial along side his mother Arsena where room is ready for him to be buried with her. His body has been refrigerated now for over a month. Had things been done properly from the start our family would have been able to lay him at rest days after his passing. We were legally in the right standing as family until other parties began to make their wishes known. We believe if the court justly look at all things justly they would recognize us in our legal standing. As when most deaths occur the family of the deceased is given their proper place to handle funeral rights. We fully believe we had those rights as documents would show but we were not given consideration. We have legal documents and the US census that will even speak to our rights.
