To Whom It May Concern, We, the residents of Ramat Bet Shemesh, are petitioning for shade for our local parks. Ramat Beit Shemesh is known to be extremely hot in the summer months. With no shade to provide cover, we are unable to use the parks for the majority of the day. It is dangerous for both children and parents to be exposed to the intense sun for even a short period of time without some sort of protection such as tarp or covering. We are requesting that the parks be covered with proper shade so that we can utilize and enjoy them. Many other cities in Israel have parks that are covered with a tarp, therefore providing much needed relief from the strong sun for mothers and children alike. We would like to have the same shaded parks so we can benefit from our local parks instead of having to leave Ramat Beit Shemesh for a trip to the park in another city for lack of shade here. Ramat Beit Shemesh is predominantly a young community with many young couples and scores of small children. This is a real and serious need for our growing families. There are very few indoor entertainment places for the kids and they always love to be outdoors As residents, we ask you to please help us by providing this much needed shade protection to our parks this summer, so we can enjoy our city to the fullest! Thank you, Residents of Ramat Beit Shemesh Aleph בכבוד, אנו, תושבי רמת בית שמש החתומים מטה, עותרים לבקש התקנת מיגון צל בגנים ובפארקים שבשכונה. כידוע, בחודשי הקיץ החמים מקומות אלו חשופים לשמש החזקה. ללא מיגון צל אי אפשר להשתמש וליהנות מהגינות הנמצאות ברחבי השכונה במשך רוב שעות היום. הקרינה אליה נחשפים הילדים המשחקים בגינות וההורים והמטפלים יכולה להוות סיכון בריאותי. אנו מבקשים ממך לכסות את הגינות והפארקים בכיסוי נאות, דבר אשר יאפשר שימוש מהנה בגינות ובמתקנים במשך כל שעות היום. בערים רבות בארץ יש גינות ופארקים שכבר מכוסים בכיסויי ברזנט וכדומה הנותנים הקלה לילדים ולהורים כאחד מפני השמש היוקדת. אנו מבקשים התקנת צל גם כאן בכדי שנוכל ליהנות מהפארקים המקומיים. רמת בית שמש מאוכלסת ברובה בהרבה משפחות צעירות וילדים לרוב (ב"ה). זהו צורך ממשי וחשוב לצרכים של משפחותינו. מקומות הבילוי בעיר מעטים מאוד וילדינו אוהבים לשחק בחוץ. כתושבי השכונה אנו מבקשים את עזרתך לקראת הקיץ הקרוב בכדי שנוכל ליהנות מעירנו היפה. תודה רבה תושבי רמת בית שמש א
