Hi, I'm Sierra. I'm in eighth grade at William Grenville Davis located in Brampton, Ontario and I am going to save our generation of girls! We're being used as guinea pigs, the government has given the okay for a 'vaccine' that many people believe has not been properly tested. This vaccine's name is Gardasil. Gardasil is supposed to be a 'cure' for HPV (Human Papilloma Virus). Would a cure cause 3 deaths, and 1,637 complaints filed as of MAY? NO! It would work with very minimal amounts of side affects. This vaccine does not have just a few side affects, some of the more serious side affects include, seizures, paralysis and worst of all, death. The list goes on. I would like to send my heart out to families who have had problems with Gardasil such as the Cunningham's who I read about in the August 27th, 2007 issue of MacLean's. Where Mrs. Cunningham states, "We know of three other students to have reactions, that is why we are concerned." Those three girls could have been one of your friends, your family members, your co-workers; they could have been the people who baby-sit your kids! The reaction to Gardasil at my school was fairly positive. But, do those girls handing in the purple slips with their names and their parent's names know that they could be handing their teacher their lives? Probably not, and why are there problems with Gardasil? Because the government has rushed into mass-producing it without enough research into the effects! They want us to think we're fine and that it's just another shot. Well it's not and I am going to stop this vaccine from being taken by people who do not know what it will do to them. I WILL NOT LET MY FRIENDS TAKE GARDASIL UNLESS THEY KNOW WHAT THEY ARE DOING! Please if you understand what I am talking about or if you have even just one girl friend do it for them!
