[DEAR IPETITIONS, YOU ARE GOING TO BE CONTACTED BY A BUNCH OF HATERS WHO ARE GOING TO BRAINWASH YOU INTO BELIEVING SOMETHING THAT ISN'T TRUE. IT'S A BUNCH OF BULL. I'M FIGHTING TO GET MY DOG CHARLIE BACK, THAT IS ALL]

Thank you for your care and attention in this matter. http://www.helpsavecharlie.com http://www.twitter.com/helpsavecharlie http://www.facebook.com/helpsavecharlie Animals enhance and brighten the lives of human beings. Our cherished pets and their communities must to be treated fairly. Please stay informed of animal rights and ethics. Charlie is an American Staffordshire Terrier puppy raised since birth in a loving family environment. Charlie is sweet, adorable, loving, and smart. I’m doing everything I can to save him and return him home. On August 6th, 2012, Charlie was 1.6 years old. Charlie was running with his guardian, David Gizzarell, and playing in a field with other off leash dogs at the Golden Gate National Parks and Recreation area. The field is called Crissy Field and it is a popular area for the general public and dogs are allowed to be OFF LEASH. Next, a Mounted Park Police Officer, an 18 year police veteran, named Eric Evans rode his recently transported thoroughbred race horse “Stoney” onto Crissy Field and into the area where Charlie and the other dogs were playing. The horse he was riding “Stoney” had a healing fracture to his leg and there is some question whether or not that horse should have been on patrol. As Charlie and his guardian were leaving the other dogs and heading back to the beach trail, Charlie noticed the horse with the uniformed rider on top. Being a puppy, Charlie was curious and ran over towards the horse and the rider. At the hearing, the police officer said Charlie charged the horse from 200 yards. There are no witnesses to any of the events at Crissy Field. The distance was around 200 feet away and Charlie didn’t viciously “charge” anyone. Charlie sniffed the horse, began to bark, and then a brief scuffle occurred. The horse fell to the ground and the mounted officer fell off. The horse and Charlie were both injured and a short 100 yard chase back to the stables ended the encounter. I have since paid for the injuries to Stoney the horse. The horse “Stoney” kicked Charlie in the head and Charlie sustained multiple injuries. At the hearing, the police officer said Charlie chased the horse for 1.6 miles. The distance was a few blocks. It was the horse that ran through the Presidio out of control. … even though he was knocked out and stated “I woke up and they were gone … “. He was the only witness at the hearing besides David, Charlie’s guardian. Another police officer waited with Charlie as David arrived to the location a few minutes later. Charlie showed no aggression to the police officer and waited patiently by. I immediately arrived after a few minutes and leashed Charlie. Charlie was impounded by the Park Police. And if that’s not enough, the owner was arrested and charged with 4 serious counts of assault on a police officer and his animal. These charges have since been dropped. Now, and most importantly, Animal Care and Control in San Francisco have decided in a hearing that Charlie is vicious and dangerous. The ACC have also suggested that Charlie is now aggressive with the staff at their facility. There was even an alleged ‘lunge’ reported by ACC staff … but they DIDN’T TELL David and released Charlie to David in June, prior to the incident with the horse Stoney. David, Charlie’s guardian, was not allowed to visit or see him. They did not allowing Charlie to have any human contact, they moved him to an isolated location. Charlie was not allowed to have walks or go outside. He was isolated for more than 6 months and no one has seen Charlie in over 9 months. Nobody even knows if Charlie is alive. Attorney’s have tried to negotiate from the beginning. Offering everything possible to return this poor abused puppy back home. Help Save Charlie has failed to persuade officials to come to a compromise or resolution n this matter. For almost a year, people have been sending cards, letters, and pleas of mercy. San Francisco returned all their letters ‘Return to Sender’. The San Francisco City Attorney has rejected all resolutions offered including the offer to pay for the horse’s $1200 veterinarian bill. Everyday more information comes to light and a cover-up has been discovered in the Animal Control’s records in regards to Charlie and the safety of the general public. LATEST UPDATE: 1. DAVID WAS FORCED INTO AN AGREEMENT TO SAVE CHARLIE’S LIFE. THE AGREEMENT TAKES CHARLIE AWAY AND DAVID LOOSE ALL HIS RIGHTS TO CHARLIE AND ALL HIS RIGHTS TO SUE THE CITY OF SAN FRANCISCO. 2. NOW THEY WANT TO FORCE DAVID TO PAY FOR THE BOARDING OF CHARLIE FOR THE LAST 9 MONTHS! 3. CAUSES.COM HAS REMOVED THE HELP SAVE CHARLIE CAMPAIGN DELETING 120,000 PETITIONERS AND SLAPPING MILLIONS OF CARING COMPASSIONATE PEOPLE IN THE FACE. 4. SAN FRANCISCO AND THE LOCAL MEDIA ARE TRYING TO PORTRAY DAVID CHARLIE’S OWNER AS A RIPOFF WHO SCAMMED THE PUBLIC BY FIGHTING FOR HIS DOG. 5. THE BIGGEST ARGUEMENT AGAINST DAVID AND CHARLIE BEING REUNITED IS THAT DAVID IS IRRESPONSIBLE. 6. THERE IS A CONSPIRACY AMONG ANIMAL ADVOCATES AND ORGANIZATIONS WHO WANT TO KEEP DOGS FROM THEIR OWNERS. ESPECIALLY TRYING TO KEEP DAVID AND CHARLIE APART. Literally, MILLIONS of people want Charlie returned home. The United States Constitution explicitly provides for ‘the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances’” in the First Amendment. SAN FRANCISCO AND SFACC TRIED TO SAY WE WERE THREATENING THEM BY ASCERTING OUR CONSTITUTIONAL RIGHTS.
