We the undersigned Margate residents petition the City of Margate to APPROVE the Lennar development considerations above for the following reasons: · Margate needs new homes taxed at the max rate with no Save Our Homes reductions at this time · Margate & Broward County will share in $600,000 of annual property tax revenues · This may enable Margate to avoid increasing property taxes or business fees · Margate needs the revenue from huge impact fees generated by this luxury development · Local businesses would benefit from the windfall of over 100 well to do families in Margate · This gated luxury residential community would add to the beauty along Royal Palm Blvd Please Note: You must be a Margate resident to sign the petition.
