Helping Our Country's Heroes As you might know millions of brave souls serve our country every year. Some might die and some might survive. Each soldier fought to make the world better place for all of us. These soldiers or, should I say veterans helped all of us in so many ways you wouldnt even believe. They made our homes a safe place to live in, they gave their lives to let us follow our dreams, and they helped us in every way they possibly could. An old friend of mine named Harry Pro once said to me, " I dont care about what you want to do in life, but all I want you youngsters to do is to follow your dreams." Harry Pro is a veteran who fought in World War II. He along with many other veterans left his whole family behind. But he also left behind a medical scholarship, even when he was a young boy he had always dreamt to be a doctor when he grew up. Even though these brave souls have done so much for us and for our country as a whole, people still take them for granted. For Pete's sake these people sacrificed everything for us. without them we might not even be alive. Many veterans come back to America and find themselves homeless, are jobless, and have nobody to take care of them. Do you think that this is fair? Well I don't thinks so, not one bit. These people have sacrificed everything for us, but some still treat them like dirt. What they did for us was as good as gold, but still people are not giving them anything but meaness.
