Name: Kathleen Maziarz on Feb 26, 2008Comments: Wawa is not the answer. The residents need to be protected and the planning board should do their job and reject the variances requested by WAWA. To allow WAWA to build is poor decision making at best. The legacy that the mayor will have will not be favorable. He will be responsible for our health and decline in property values.Flag

Name: Gary Strevell on Mar 3, 2008Comments: We strongly oppose the Eatontown Planning Board's consideration of overlooking the best interests of Eatontown's residents by ignoring Ordinance 89-44C(5)(g). The intent of this Ordinance was to protect the residents of Eatontown from the danger and lowering of the standard of living by allowing a large gas station so close to the residential property. Would the member's of the Planning Board or the Mayor himself wish to have this WaWa built adjacent to their own homes and in such close proximity to their children or grandchildren We think not!Flag

Name: Vince & Angela Marone on Mar 4, 2008Comments: If the PB says yes to WAWA, they will make fools of themselves, as WAWA and other big corporate business will drop the name of Eatontown, as the community who had an Ordinance in place and didn't think enough of it's citizens and voted against it.Flag

Name: Pat Eisen on Mar 5, 2008Comments: Eatontown does not need another Gas Station. We have four within a very short distance of each other. We also do not need another convenience store. There are three in the local area. How about the planning board vote for what is right for the town.Flag

Name: Anonymous on Mar 7, 2008Comments: The Mayor made sure that the land between his home and Hwy 36 was ourchased by Eatontown to use as a park. He made sure that his home was protected from another gas station/convience store (not to mention unlawful per the ordinances) in the Eatontown area.Flag

Name: Kathleen Eppinger on Mar 13, 2008Comments: This is not something I want in my neighborhood and I highly doubt that anyone in Eatontown would want this type of business built right next to their house. We all need to think about that. How this will affect our neighbors and not sit there and say - Well I'm glad it is not next door to me. Next time it might be!Flag
