WHEN READING PLEASE BEAR IN MIND I AM SPEAKING FOR OTHERS ON THE ESTATE WITH DOGS I ONLY HAVE ONE SMALL BOARDER TERRIER.

PLEASE SHARE AND SIGN THIS ALONG WE OF HEALY PLACE, PLYMOUTH NEED YOUR HELP!!! Our houseing association. DEVON AND CORNWALL HOUSING ALSO KNOWN AS TORR HOMES..... has written us a letter saying we have to get rid of our dogs if personally have had our dog for three years now... when we first got him we had a letter saying we had to get rid of him then a letter a few weeks later saying they was going to get an injunction order out on us to remove the dog and it would also mean we would not be able to move of which we tried to move in order to keep him.... we gave him to a friend till we could find a place that allowed pets and that went a bit sour so we got him back by then we had a new housing officer of which said to us face to face and in a official meeting with our neighbours told them he loved dogs and its not on his agenda or intention to get rid of the dogs... however once our old housing officer came back (the one that sent us the letter before) as soon as he got into power sent letter to everyone one the estate saying everyone one the top floor who has dogs is to remove them. Our dogs are loved and wanted animals and are apart off our families as of today we have started a petition on the estate. if our dogs get removed by housing they would more than likely get put in a shelter and if not re-homed into another family will be put down.... THATS JUST PLAIN WRONG we love our dogs and want to keep them as i said we have had him 3years he is settled and is a member of our family some people have had there dogs longer way longer.... We have grass areas all around us and we are two mins away from devonport park a lovely walk for the dogs they are taken out regularly and for long walks as we do live on the first floor so they need longer walks...... we also pay for our estate cleaner to empty a dog poo bin that is on our communal grass area around the back of the blocks why should we do that if we are not allowed dogs???? all i ask is that people show only good support for our fight to have dogs allowed and our family dogs stay in there stable homes.
