I live in Connecticut with my 3 children a 11 yr old boy, a 9 yr old girl, and my four year old son. All my life cause of the economy here I have suffered to struggle to give my kids an me a better life.And while suffering the last six years I lived with a man who has only given me an my kids grief with the verbal abuse an physical abuse to me an the children an our dog. For 6 yrs we lived like prisoners ashamed of who we are cause no matter what we did it was never good enough. I am fighting this man for custody of our 4 yr old son and I was offered a chance to relocate an start fresh were me an the kids would be safe an they would have better schooling an could finally have a normal life an we could all heal as a family and finally be happy. Were no one new our pasts or all the bad things that happened to us and we could be free to live happy an normal lives. Courts don't like breaking families up cause they feel it is unfair to one parent but my 4 yr old son is more attached to me and it would destroy him to leave him behind with dad and dad would still have rights an get his son during all vacations and holiday time so dad would get his son almost half the year if u count the feb an april an xmas vacation an all of summer and both child an dad could call an Skype one another as much as they choose an mail eachother pics etc. And dad would be welcome to make arrangements with me to visit his son in our relocation spot at any time he chooses during the school year. If u feel this is fair an is in the best interested of my children I ask no I beg u to sign this petition to help me convince the court this is best for my children I have researched the new place an have thought long an hard on it and it was the toughest decision I ever had to make in my life but I know this is the only way me an my kids will ever get a chance at a normal life.
