This petition is for the benefit of Father Pancho at St. Joseph's parish in Honey Creek. It's purpose is to have your voice heard, in support of Father Pancho's remaining on as pastor of this community.

During his short time here at St. Josephs, this is what Father Pancho has done:

• Church debt has been paid 2 1/2 years ahead of time. (2019 was original projection)
• Has reduced staff by half, allowing the parish to save $85,000 in yearly costs.
• Has increased Eucharistic Adoration to two days, instead of one.
• Upgrades to St. Josephs buildings, and important upkeep and maintenance to formerly neglected structures.
• Attendance to mass, both English and Spanish has significantly increased since Father Pancho's arrival.
• Confessions are now daily and prior to each mass, in contrast to the former Sat. only and by appointment.
• Upgrades to fiber optic cables throughout church buildings, as well as upgrades to computer systems and software to Windows 10.
• Good efficient and well organized administrative skills and practices can be seen throughout the parish since Father Pancho has been here at St. Josephs.

“The priest who seldom goes out of himself … misses out on the best of our people, on what can stir the depths of his priestly heart. … This is precisely the reason why some priests grow dissatisfied, lose heart and become in a sense collectors of antiquities or novelties — instead of being shepherds living with ‘the smell of the sheep.’ This is what I am asking you — be shepherds with the smell of sheep.”
