We want to have an Ice Age April Fool's Day edition. The Christmas short with young Peaches was so adorable and my friends can't believe that there isn't one for April Fools Day, where Peaches is voiced by Ciara Bravo! Help us by signing the petition for a script much like my example below. Ice Age Fool for the Day ACT 1 The scene opens with SID upside down with his eyes closed. He then lets out a big yawn and he gets up from his rock. He then goes out of the cave and all the other guys are up. CRASH and EDDIE then run up to him. "Hey, Sid," said CRASH. "Good morning," said EDDIE. "Hey there, fellas," SID replied. "Hey! Wanna shake my hand?" EDDIE asked with a smile. "Okay," SID said and was about to shake his hand, but then a buzzing noise is heard and he jumps back and yelps in pain. CRASH and EDDIE then burst out laughing. "April Fool's, Sid!" EDDIE laughed, showing SID a hand buzzer he's wearing. "Oh. It's April 1, huh?" said SID. "You bet it is!" said CRASH, who was still laughing a bit. "Aw, man. You guys got me there," said SID, who was kind of embarrassed. "Oh, no, Sid! Look out! Some rhinos are right behind ya!" CRASH exclaimed, pointing at nothing. "Aaah! Oh no! Help! Run!" SID yelled, starting to run in circles. But then CRASH and EDDIE laughed. "April Fool's again, Sid, ol' buddy!" EDDIE shouted, his twin brother and him laughing at the sloth again. "Ohh, man. You really fooled me there," said SID. PEACHES then shows up walking up to SID. "Morning, Uncle Sid," said 12-year-old PEACHES who was smiling. "Oh. Good morning, Peaches," said SID. "Is something wrong?" PEACHES asked, noticing SID's disappointed look. "Yeah. It's April Fool's Day and Crash and Eddie were playin' mean pranks on me," SID said. "Oh. I'm sorry about that," PEACHES apologized. "But um, I wanted to show you something." "What is it?" SID asked. "Smell this flower and you'll get a wonderful surprise," PEACHES said, holding a flower in her trunk. "Okay, Peaches," SID said and he started sniffing the flower and PEACHES squeezed it so hard water came squirting out in SID's face. PEACHES then started laughing. "Just kidding, Uncle Sid! April Fool's!" PEACHES said. "Ohh... not you, too," SID said and he walked away. "Aw, come on, Uncle Sid! It's only a joke!" PEACHES shouted back, but SID simply ignored her and continued walking. The scene cuts to SID walking up to MANNY and ELLIE. "Hey, Manny?" SID said. MANNY and ELLIE turn around. "Oh. Morning, Sid," ELLIE smiled. "Hey there," MANNY said, also smiling. "Yeah. Good morning, you two," SID said. "But, um, I need to tell you somethin'." "Well, what is it?" asked ELLIE. "Um... today is April Fool's Day and I've been the victim of horrible pranks by Crash, Eddie, and Peaches." "Oh, my. I'm sorry, Sid. What did they do to you?" ELLIE asked, showing sympathy for SID. "Well, first Crash and Eddie shocked me with the hand buzzer, and then Peaches came and squeezed a flower in my face," SID told them with his claw on his hip. But then CRASH and EDDIE ran up to SID, soon followed by PEACHES. "Hey, Sid! There's a squirrel on your head!" CRASH said, pointing at SID's head. "Huh?" gasped SID, who then threw himself on the ground, squirming around and shouting, "Get it off! Get it off of me!" CRASH and EDDIE started laughing. "Kidding again, you silly fool!" CRASH laughed. "April Fool!" CRASH, EDDIE, and PEACHES all said in sing-song voices. "Hey, hey. Crash, Eddie," said MANNY to the possums, who turned their attention on him. "There's something on ya," MANNY said, pointing his trunk at their stomachs. "Really?" said CRASH. "What?" asked EDDIE. "This," said MANNY and he hit them really hard with their trunks, thus sending them flying. Peaches is shocked. "Uncle Crash! Uncle Eddie!" PEACHES shouted in fear as she ran over to her uncles. "April Fool's, you idiots," said MANNY and he walked away, leaving ELLIE and SID by themselves. "Hmph. What's with him?" SID asked ELLIE, pointing at MANNY. "Oh, he's probably just not feelin' so well," replied ELLIE. "Or maybe he just doesn't have a sense of humor," said SID. But then SID got an idea. "Aha! Ellie, I've got an idea! I'm gonna teach those guys a lesson!" said SID. "You are?" said ELLIE. "Yeah! It's gonna be awesome! Watch me prank them!" said SID and then he ran off. ELLIE chuckled to herself and said, "I can't wait to see this." The scene cuts to PEACHES with CRASH and EDDIE. "Oh, man, did you see the look on his face?" CRASH laughed. "Yeah! He looked kinda funny!" PEACHES said, laughing along with her uncles. "Hey, Peaches! Crash! Eddie!" SID shouted in a sing-song voice. PEACHES, CRASH and EDDIE all turned to see SID running up to them. "What is it, Uncle Sid?" PEACHES asked. "Oh, nothin', really. I just wanted you to shake my hand!" SID smiled, extending his paw. PEACHES is about to shake it with her trunk, but then her trunk vibrates and she jumps back screaming, "Ow!" SID then burst out laughing. "April Fool's, Peaches!" SID said, still laughing. "Hey, Sid. That wasn't very nice," said CRASH. "Oh, yeah? Oh. I'm sorry, you guys. So you wanna sniff my flower?" SID smiled, showing them a green flower. CRASH and EDDIE went up to sniff it, but SID squeezes the flower that it squirts out in CRASH and EDDIE's faces, knocking them down. SID then fell and started pounding the ground while laughing so hard. "April Fool's, you sillyheads!" SID said. "Aw, man. I guess our pranks backfired on us, huh?" CRASH said to PEACHES, who nodded saying, "Uh-huh." SID then got up and said, "So, uh, wanna go get somethin' to eat?" "Okay!" said PEACHES. "Right behind ya," said EDDIE. Then SID, PEACHES, CRASH and EDDIE all started walking away to get some grub. "Hey, Uncle Sid. What's that over there?" PEACHES asked, pointing at nothing. "Huh?" said SID as he turned to look, only for PEACHES to then hit the side of his head, followed by SID saying "Ouch!" PEACHES, CRASH and EDDIE then laughed. "Yeah, yeah, yeah. April Fool's," SID said sarcastically. ACT 2 The scene then cuts to SCRAT running into view and sniffing something. He then gets down on the ground and is scattering around. He then scurries over to the front, and gasps, upon seeing an acorn by a beaver's cave. SCRAT runs over to the acorn once the beaver leaves and tries to eat it, to no avail. SCRAT takes a good look at the acorn and sees that it is a plush. He then opens the cap and out pops a toy squirrel that looks like SCRAT. SCRAT is startled, but then he throws the acorn away and takes a huge deep breath. The scene cuts to the Earth as SCRAT screams extremely loud in frustration.
