   Comments: I have performed at the Spa for over 40 years, on and off, with Dennis Lowe (proscenium theatre company) Felixstowe Musical Theatre Stage Door Theatre Company and others. and have fond memories of the shows and the people I worked with. This lovely old theatre has served Felixstowe well for a century and it will be a travesty if it has to close.

    Comments: the spa pavillion theatre is a major part of our town,a wonderfull place for all,shows enjoyed by families with children and couples,friends etc,a friendly enviroment, so to close the theatre would be a terrible shame.Please save the theatre!!

    Comments: I have been to the spa for many shows and always had an enjoyable time. Also when working I often took elderly residents to shows and tea in the restruarant. we need to keep this type of venue in felixstowe.

    Comments: A closure of the Spa Pavilion, a community resource, and one which would support the tourism economy if managed welll, will sign the death warrant for Felixstowe as a resort. Shared space, new gardens are all very well, but a resort without entertainment?? Who will come and who will stay? What does this say about our town? A crumbling Pier, and no arts venue - do we want to to attract people to live here, stay here, and enjoy the environment? The Hermann DeStern was allowed to die, and now there is an ugly gaping hole :-( A wealthy benefactor is needed - a name to champion the cause.

    Comments: Felixstowe without the Spa? The Spa is the history of Felixstowe. Just look at the old Edwardian Pictures of Felixstowe to see how Felixstowe's reputation as a Seaside Leisure venue grew! It has changed over the years, bur has always been a venue for the local people and tourists to visit and enjoy. Please put some thought into rejuvenating this centre. Home, for our local theatre companies.

    Comments: This theatre cannot be allowed to fall by the wayside. Yes it needs new life breathed into it and yes it will take money and yes it will probably need to diversify but we cannot stand by and let it crumble. Felixstowe needs this theatre.

    Comments: I used to be part of the management team at the Spa (2001-2002 and again in 2006) and understand what an important place it is to so many members of the community. For many Felixstowe residents it is the easiest and best place to go for entertainment, especially for those with limited transport options, and its loss would be sorely felt amongst many of my friends and acquaintances from my time there. Please save the Spa!
