The Pennsylvania State Senate just recently passed bill SB 1466 that will reduce funding for KEYSTONSE STARS by 8.7 million from the Governor’s proposed budget. This could negatively affect our school in a variety of ways!
KEYSTONE STARS is a voluntary program that assists in developing Early Childhood programs throughout Pennsylvania.
KEYSTONE STARS helps to make funding available through grants for Early childhood education. This funding helps purchase classroom materials needed to educate our children such as age appropriate classroom manipulables, blocks, books, and even playground equipment
KEYSTONE STARS offers Center Directors and Teachers professional trainings, consultations, and other resources so that Child care providers can stay current with certifications and professional development.
