I was very sad to hear the news that the Rosebud and Times Theater announced that they were closing. Not only have they been in business for the last 80 years, but their benefits to the community are immeasurable. The Rosebud is in a prime location in Wauwatosa, offering reasonable ticket pricing and ample parking. They have a full size food and beverage menu, and the most endearing staff. There is such a "homey" feel to their theater, including velvet couches and tables for enjoying your snacks. Oddly enough, the Times Theater was the only place in town to catch a showing of "Its a Wonderful Life" during the holidays. There are few theaters offering $5 seats to a movie, let alone offering such a plethora of classical films? Please sign this petition so that we can help owner David Glazer to keep these historical venues. Let's show the banks that sentimental value outweighs dollars and cents at times.
