Name: Anonymous on Jan 30, 2013Comments: For a town/surrounding environs of the size of Hemel/Dacorum to not have an A&E is criminal. The extra 15 miles is negligent of a society that needs to rethink what our priorities our - our people and our well being - without both, how can we get the financial stability we so desperately need. Get our priorities right, then we can get on and sort out the rest of the country.Flag

Name: Michael Tonge on Jan 30, 2013Comments: It is outrageous, a town the size of Hemel, should require its residents to travel so far for emergency treatment. Adequate healthcare for communities is a must and this is a dereliction of duty by the Government.Flag

Name: Anonymous on Feb 2, 2013Comments: Whilst in opposition, local MP Mike Penning had pledged more than once to fight for the re-opening of A&E and other services at Hemel Hospital. He is now a Cabinet Minister, yet our hospital has only suffered more cuts. Own up, Mike! We want our hospital back.Flag

Name: Anne Burton on Feb 7, 2013Comments: We need a hospital...im forever having to take one of my family to St Albans hopspital or Watford hospital for something or another. Watford would be a nightmare...especially when Watford are playing at home, if it was an emergency. Hemel is big enough a place to justify having its own hopspital...and not put extra strain on surrounding areas by taking our casualties!Flag

Name: Aimi Tompkins on Feb 7, 2013Comments: About time!!! Zena Bullmore worked so hard for our hospital, my nan marched with her in London in 1975. We need to get something done about this. It is such a shame seeing the hospital in the way it is. Watford can not cope with the extra demand and patient care is suffering.Flag
