Comments: I don't disagree with the idea of state funlears for the remaining 3 WW1 vets, but petitions are only legal in Canada if someone signs with a pen to paper. On-line or emails petitions mean nothing legally and are a waste of everyone's time.

Comments: Dear Ms. Foye, I am sorry to hear about your son, Josh and his drug use. I would say to you, please do not heatstie to call 911 if and when Josh is out of control or threatening you or anyone in your family. This exact situation that you just described about already filing Baker Act and Marcman Act petitons is WHY we need The Jennifer Act! My bill makes 15 improvements to the Marchman Act. I urge you to please contact your FL. Senators, FL. Representatives, FL. Gov. Scott and the media and tell them WHY we need this bill to pass in FL. Help can come to addicted citizens like Josh with this bill in place. If I can do anything, please let me know.

Comments: Thanks for your insight, bro. You pintpinoed the focus of OWS and other protests for us idiots. What are your thoughts on other big issues, we're dying to know. Also, check your subject-verb agreement before you drop philosophical bombs on us so your point is not lost in a mire of shitty grammar.

Comments: I'm with you on Harden, nowadays. I love wathcing him play. He does so many things on the court that help a team win. Plus, that beard is dope. But I wasn't big on him in college because even though he was lauded by scouts, he always played terribly when I watched him, specifically against Temple in the NCAA Tournament. He just looked kind of lazy and unimpressive the few times I actually watched him in college. Not anymore. And I'm quickly becoming a fan.

Comments: , those 17 out of 18 games won, post all-star break were as much about Bynum STEPPING UP HIS PLAY as they were about Kobe doing what he'd been doing all season. If the Lakers were a house, Kobe would be the fotuoanidn. Bynum would be what makes them a nicer house. Thats what was goingon post all-star break. But if you dont have the fotuoanidn you obviously can't build up. This is why Kobe is the MVP FOR THE LAKERS. So far as the rest of the league goes...i'm afraid he's not this year. Hands down, it's Derrick Rose. I'll brief, while addressing some of these other arguments:"However, there is one man on the Lakers who showed up to play every night and never took a game off. He made shots, played defense, controlled the game, and put the fear of God in everyone, whether it was a game in November or a game in April.": You can say that for all four MVP candidates... thats partially what makes each of them a candidate. "there's one thing that has to be said about Kobe, regardless of the other candidates you will see this week: when he is on the court, his teams win. When he is not on the court, his teams lose. That's fact." This can be said for any of the other candidates as well with exception to Lebron (and no that's not hate, he's just the only candidate that plays with another top 5 in the league type player). I would have loved to seen Orlando without Dwight because that would have been just comical, and seeing Stan Van lose his mind is always fun. Had Derrick Rose been added to that list of injured Bulls players that missed significant time earlier this year, well they may have not been much better than the Sixers."Regardless of how you feel about the man, and regardless of the fact that the people's choice is Derrick Rose and the safe choice is LeBron (seeing as how he's won the MVP the last two years)...": Uh no. The safe choice is Derrick Rose, because he's the OBVIOUS choice. Not everything is about "the people", "perceptions", and "emotions". Some stuff is just black and white. And this year's MVP race really is just that. The most black and white one we've seen in a while, actually.

Comments: - Harder than you can imagine. Well, maybe not, since you hate Kobe, too. In the end, I just think this is the one saseon where I really thought he displayed his full worth, along with the team's success, over any other candidate.@ The Rev - That article makes me seasick.@ Mark - In terms of his personality, I won't even get into that, even in the basketball sense, because I can rant on that all day. @ Phil - I think him not producing at previous levels is more by design, as opposed to him being unable to do it anymore, though. The team has played together for three full years now (counting Gasol's first full saseon), and they've got the Triangle down pat. I won't hold his diminished production against him. Besides, the main reason (IMO) that they didn't win the West, is b/c they lost to teams who aren't worth a damn anyway. That goes back to motivation, and regardless of how much I despise Kobe Bryant, outside of Game Seven of the '06 1st round, I won't question his effort. The other guys on his team? That's another story.@ The Smoking Ace - That's a formula, which is why none of those teams out West will beat them. They don't have the mental make-up to do it. Great point.
