El Salvador is the smallest country in South America. Even though most of the land is marshy and wet, many people living there do not have a clean water source. They only know water that looks like this. This scarcity of clean water kills people everyday. A child dies every 15 seconds from lack of water, or diseases from drinking the dirty water. 16% of people living in El Salvador that don’t even know what a sink is, or know of the clean water that runs out of it.
