Over the past few months, I've had the opportunity and honor to meet with Hawaii’s next generation of leaders throughout our islands; listening to the needs and concerns they share for both our state and our country. The most important issues we are all facing are job creation, the economy and the shrinking prospect of individual freedom.
That is why I would like to share this with you today - a petition to organize our existing Hawaii Young Republicans into an official state chapter of the National Federation of Young Republicans.
Through the creation of an official state chapter of the Young Republicans, HRP seeks to foster a social and political environment where we can promote the values of: greater individual freedom, limited government and a respect for the principles set forth in our United States Constitution.
We know these are important to you and your ‘ohana, and we will advocate on your behalf for positive change in these areas by providing the means for you to participate in social, community service, and policy advocacy activities that are created for us – the future leaders of Hawaii.
However, we cannot do it alone!
We need your signature, support, and the signatures of your 'ohana, friends and colleagues under 40 to secure our charter for 2013.
Even if you are not under 40, you can forward this petition to your family members and friends who are in order to help make this happen!
This past November, we elected 4 Republican leaders under the age of 40 to the State House. By signing the petition you will help HRP build on this success. We pledge to build an organization committed to advancing positive values through social, community service, and policy advocacy activities.
Sign our petition and then forward it to your personal networks to help HRP invest in the next generation of young leaders.
Mahalo nui loa for your support,
State Party Chairman
