A new UN-African Union force of 26,000 soldiers has been deployed in Darfur to put an end to the 4 year conflict that has torn this region apart.So far, the African Union force has failed to protect the civilian refugees. This combined force needs 24 helicopters to start the mission. As of today, not a single country has offered to provide them. The United States is one of the richest countries in the world yet hasn't even offered one.
