Let me start by saying I lost my best friend 5 months ago because she couldn't afford healthcare. She was 39. I am a 35 yr old single woman with no children and I make less than $20,000/yr. I also have Diabetes. The health coverage through my employer will only pay out 10,000/yr in medical expenses and I have to pay $180/mo in premiums and a $500 deductable. that limit on what they will pay barely covers my diabetic medications and doctors appointments. The sad part of this is I am not alone and neither was my best friend. She died because of people like those in the Tea Party. We need to change this. It is a sad world where in a country as rich as the United States an ex-convict will get full medical coverage but a single woman with no children making less than $30,000/yr can not get even mediocre coverage. Please sign this petition and forward it so we can get the message out that we will not let those in need die because they can't afford to pay thier medical bills.
