Comments: the Uk people in General and in this case the people of Lewisham need and deserve to have an A/E services - the closure of a/e dose not save money - it rather a lie - when countries are looking @ our NHS it is sad our leaders are set out to brake it - the tax payer can stop this down hill spiral @ our NHS.

Comments: This is a ludricous situation to even consider closing down A&E at Lewisham. I work in a GP practice and to think that the nearest hospital would be QE, STH or King's does not bear thinking about. Keep fighting and keep A&E open

Comments: Closure of University Hoapital, Lewisham A&E and acute services will adversely affect the ability of many of my vulnerable patients to access needed acute medical care in a timely and safe manner. I am therefore vehemently opposed to this recommendation by the Trust Special Administrator (TSA).

Comments: 1. Could the TSA tell us the names of the private providers shortlisted for procurement? 2. Were doctors nurses and patients consulted on the decision? 3. Have provisions been made for GP surgeries to deal with the workload that will follow the closure?

Comments: There are soo many pressures on our local hospitals and for us in practice at present, Closing the A&E at Lewisham would only add further pressures, Also what will happen when there is an over flow? For instance a few months back I happend to be at QEH with a relative that had been brought in by LAS, On arrival to QEH the LAS team had received an internal message to say all ambulance calls were now to go to QEH due to Lewisham having a large amount of emergencies to deal with. By taking away yet another A&E service this could firstly be endangering lives due to times waiting & time travelling to an open A&E and secondly as said earlier will add unnessasary pressures to A&E staff, Beds, etc.

Comments: Lewisham A+E plays a busy and vital role in the local area. The knock-on effects of losing it will affect a wide local area and healthcare will suffer as a result as well as placing added pressure on the wider existing A+E service which are already very busy. This proposal sounds disastrous.

Comments: These are vital service for this large borough and losing them will have a very significant and detrimantal effect on health care provision. Our experience is that patients will opt to go to Kings for their care.

Comments: Lewisham A&E offers a key service to my Practice population, none of whom can easily get to QEH in Woolwich as the recommended alternative. Kings A&E is already busy enough, this does not seem to be a very clinically safe decision.
