Healing History: Let make it right.

74 Signatures Goal: 25,000

Time to get humble. Keep it respectful. We are tired of knowing the truth and nothing is changing.... Tired of the many places all around named to honor those who stole this land in the name of greed and genocide. Let us as a community rise up and change our perceptions to honor the ancestors of this land and their descendants.

We feel it is time to make it right.  Let's rename "Steven's Field"! Let's name it in the memory of the leaders who protected their people.... Quiemuth Field.

Why is it ok for Ancestral lands and Sacred sites that are thousands of years old to be named after Colonists names, and when Indigenous people want to return the original names back it causes violence, and death threats?? They faced no opposition to changing the original names because at the time, the surviving Native people in the lands were recovering from the Violent Genocide, and mass murdering. It is time to re-name all the Sacred Sites.

Time to re-name everything with it's original names, go back to the beginning, and try to do this right this time.
