AnonymousI Love Harry Potter so please make it go back to November
BillieIf it comes out on Dec 11 I am unlikely to come to see it at the movies. I really do believe you will lose a lot of ticket sales if you postpone this release. Your whole reason for postponing it, I assume is so it is closer to school holidays; however I doubt it will be suitable for most school age children to watch anyway. If you really want to boost ticket sales you will move it forward to come out at the same time as the US and the UK like it normally does.

Karen T.Please reconsider, we are coming to the end of the Harry Potter Series and by now I think it deserves a world wide release date - Australian fans do not deserve having to wait almost a month behind the rest of the world.

AnonymousI totally agree with this petition, and agree that if this movie is released at a later date, it will diminish peoples eagerness to see the movie at the theatres when they can download it, or buy from illegal sources, thats what i plan on doing. We have waited long enough for snidgets of information about the movie, and when we have its beem very little and very late compared to the other movies. We Potter fans have been loyal to you, its time you kept your loyalty to us.
marielle jakobplease please please. i am exchange student in new zealand and have to go back to germany on the 9th of december and i woult love to see the movie in english while i am in new zealand so PLEASE change the date.

ChrissieIt will be a huge disappointment if the release date is not changed.
JhoniyWhy is it so late?
SimoneHarry Potter is AWESOME!
Melissa CopestakeMy main concern is having to deal with 'spoilers' being posted all over the internet and television. If the movie is not released closer to the US and the UK date, then illegal copies are going to also be distributed.

markI think that it's unfair for those people to see the movie three weks after we already saw it!....thats not a good idea at all.

AnonymousAustralia should have it on November 21st. I don't live there but I know many people from around where I live that believe that the date should be changed.

HPFANTimothyThanks guys! Hopefully with all these contributions, the release date for HBP in Australia and NZ will be changed, after all... these two countries are fully united in Harry Potter madness just as any other nation in this world. We beg of you WB, please change our release date! Regards, Tim [Loyal Fan/Frequent Visiter of MuggleNet.com/Founder of MuggleMix.com]

Matt M.Come on. We've been through this before. Don't disrepect your fans in New Zealand and Australia by giving them the film two weeks later than the rest of the anglosphere. We all speak English, there are no dubbing issues. We get the reasons why you do this sort of thing (to move the film closer to the school holidays or avoid competition with other blockbusters), and we know you want to try and front-load your ticket sales, but Harry Potter is such a popular franchise with so many fans (it seems like every third person is a fan, nowadays) that you are still going to get a huge response on release weekend. The others will all go and see the movie eventually, and many school age fans will go and see it once on release weekend and several more times two weeks later after the holidays have started. You will do a great deal of damage to your relationship with fans by moving the release date forward two weeks later than the UK, Canada and the USA. Just release the film and let us see it at the same time as our fellow English-speakers.
FrancescaWe can't wait so long.... it doesn't make sense.... PLEASE PLEASE WB..... the date needs to be changed to the 21st!!!

AnonymousI support this petition
AnonymousMany australians will just watch it online instead of waiting if the release date is not pushed forwards and you at WB will lose a hell of a lot of money
Glenn NewtonDo you at WB have any logic, why release it at that time? Yes it's closer to school holidays but this is Harry Potter and I can guarantee that at least a third of potential Australian box office "numbers" as you seem to see us, will have seen the movie before the december release date. What will that do to your numbers...
AnonymousReleasing this most recent installment of the Harry Potter series such a lengthy time after that of the US and England will most definetely dent ticket sales, and frankly, break us Harry Potter devotee's hearts :P Totally for a worldwide release date!

Anonymousplease can you release harry potter on the 27th of november because i am a huge harry potter fan and belive that australia should have the same rights as the rest of the world! All of my freinds agree that australia should get the movie at the same time as the rest of the world and that includes my freinds over seas!
AnonymousI am an obsesive Harry Poter fan and am outraged that australia is going to get the 6th Harry Potter film 3 WEEKS after the rest of the world! this is outrageous and unfair. if you have any respect for australians then you will let us get the movie at the same time as the rest of the world!
KatSeriously Warner Bros did this with the last HP film. And last time a petition was put together to bring the date forward, which it was. Have they not learned that Aussies and Kiwis will fight them to get the release day moved forward? They refuse to realise they can't forget us!
