I am doing a class project called project citizen. Project citizen is where you find a solution to a problem that exists in the community. The problem that my class chose was that people are not buying enough local food. Up to 90% of the food that we eat is imported. If farmers did not have to pay or had lower income taxes, more people may want to go into farming and more local food will be in the community. If more people ate local food the price would drop and more people would buy local food over imported food. We hope you choose to support this solution to this important problem.
