The Civil War museum is a vital part of Pennsylvania and Civil War history alike. It is one of the only museums dedicated to the entire American Civil War. Sadly, Harrisburg Mayor Eric Papenfuse announced he was urging the city to shut down the museum do to the city inability to fund it. I ask that the state of Pennsylvania buy and maintain the museum from the city and keep it open to the public. With your support are voices can and will be heard by the Pennsylvania government.
