The recent speeches by a number of people in Ghana on our airwaves and political platforms could send us into chaos. Whist the contempt laws are adequate to convict conteminors, the existing laws which is used to the state to prosecute people accused of hate speech and inciting people to commit crime are not adequate. Ghana therefore need a new law to curb this growing trend of hate speeches and foul languages on our airwaves.
